Someone posted this on LaLD but couldn’t identify it. I’m going to guess it’s some sort of Fiero kit? Reverse Google Image Search didn’t turn anything up. It identified it as a Mustang Mach 1...

The tail panel logo and flying buttresses lead me to believe it started life as a Fiero but I have no idea of what happened to it after that.

Definitely a Fiero GT base, but not sure what else.

Looks like someone tried to turn a pontiac Fi ero into a Dino.

Dunno, except that it looks like the bastard grandchild of a Fiero, a Vette, a 308 and a Dino .
I s it bad that I kinda like it?

Kelmark GT body on a Fiero chassis, with personal touches . I would kill for those tail light covers, they are near perfect condition.

I think you’re right! Thanks!

Not at all. I kinda like it too. It’s like if Pontiac had tried to build a Fiero 20 years earlier.

From counting the wheels, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that it’s an automobile.

Same, my first thought was “what a waste of those taillights!”

I mean, if you described a Mach 1 to an alien species that lacked the sense of sight, that's something they could come up with.

It looks like a Fiero kit car (from the side window glass, and the tail light lenses taped to the back)
With a full re- body kit or custom fabrication that makes it look like the 246 GT Dino.
Fun Fact: Ferrari 365P Berlinetta Speciale 1966 concept car, which was the design predecessor for the Dino, was a larger, V12-powered, 3-seat car with the driver in the center, similar to what McLaren F1 would do a couple decades later.

They must have really chopped and re-fabbed the Kelmark body shell, because the doors and side window frames on the Kelmark kit are really thick and cut into the roof, unlike this.
But it looks better on the yellow car above.

Looking at it on my wife’s computer, instead of the junk at work, looks like it’s a Kelmark GT with some paint in key areas. . I can see the cut for the doors in the roof, 4 lug wheels. And the Fiero lenses are just taped on. Guess that is the difference between a laptop with 13" screen, and a computer with 3 24" screens. Seeing some other odd things. Might have her fiddle with the picture a bit and see what is off. She is much better at that than I am.
